PURPOSE: A method for restoring lead ammunition contaminated soil is provided to effectively separate and eliminate lead ammunition from contaminated soil at a clay pigeon shooting field based on the specific gravity difference of the lead ammunition and soil. CONSTITUTION: Soil contaminated with lead ammunition is collected. The collected soil is sieved. The mesh size of a sieve is smaller than the size of a lead ammunition unit. Unsieved soil is introduced into a water tank filled with water. Outlets are arranged at both the upper side and the lower side of the water tank. Water in the water tank vertically moves along the gravity direction to precipitate the lead ammunition from the soil. The precipitated lead ammunition is discharged through the outlet at the lower side of the water tank. The water tank further includes a cylinder and a plunger.
