LOWER ARM MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF A STABILIZER BAR TO PREVENT STRESS CONCENTRATION AND BENDING MOMENT THROUGH COMPRISING A BRACKET

PURPOSE: A lower arm mounting structure of a stabilizer bar is provided to improve the rigidity and durability of a lower arm through preventing the stress concentration and bending moment a lower arm and improve the durability of welded portion through dividing load and impact by forming the welded portion along the circumference of a bracket.;CONSTITUTION: A lower arm mounting structure of a stabilizer bar is composed as follows. A bracket(10) is inserted in a mounting hole(111). The mounting hole is formed in a lower arm(110) coupled with a sub frame. The bracket is formed as pipe shape and comprises a bolt hole. The bracket is installed to locate the bolt hole in the upper side of the lower arm. A ball joint is mounted in the lower arm through the lower side of a ball joint(20) being coupled with a stabilizer and the upper side of a ball joint being inserted in the bracket and the ball stud(21) being inserted in the bolt hole.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
