PURPOSE: A printer is provided to reduce energy consumption because an operation of a heater of a print head stops when a print is completed.;CONSTITUTION: A printer(20) comprises a plurality of print heads and a controller(80). The controller is operatively connected to each print head. One or more print heads discharge ink of a single color. Each printer head comprises a heater(228) so that solid ink inside the print head is heated until reaching a phase change temperature.
