摘要

PURPOSE: A crankless engine is provided to improve NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness) performances of an engine because two pistons are operated in the opposite direction and vibrations generated when the engine operates are compensated.;CONSTITUTION: A crankless engine comprises a cylinder(110), a first and second piston, a fuel explosion device(140) and a rotary drum(150). An intake valve and an exhaust valve are placed in an intake/exhaust unit(112). The intake/exhaust unit is formed in-between of the cylinder. The first and the second piston move from one side of the cylinder to the other side of the cylinder respectively. The second piston is placed oppositely to each other in a same axial line around the intake/exhaust unit. When an operational space between the first piston and the second piston is formed into a minimum size, the fuel explosion device detonates fuels inside the operational space. When the first piston and the second piston operate back and forth, the rotary drum is rotated with moving forces of the first and second piston.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
