LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE CAPABLE OF PREVENTING LOWERING OF PICTURE QUALITY DUE TO A BRIGHTNESS CHANGE

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to quickly and efficiently emit heat of a high temperature generated from LEDs to the outside, thereby preventing reduction of lifetime of LEDs.;CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(123) is placed on a reflecting plate(125). An LED assembly(129) includes a plurality of LEDs(129a) and a PCB(129b). The LEDs are arranged along with a light incident surface of the light guide plate. The LEDs are mounted on the PCB. An LED housing(200) surrounds the LED assembly. The LED housing includes a vertical unit(210) and a first horizontal unit(220). The vertical unit contacts the PCB. The first horizontal unit is vertical to the vertical unit. A liquid crystal panel(110) is placed on the light guide plate. A cover bottom(150) is made of a horizontal side(151) which is close to the reflecting plate. One edge(155) of the horizontal side is located on the first horizontal unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
