PURPOSE: A control signal input device using posture recognition and a method thereof are provided to recognize postures of the hands, wrists, and fingers and generate various system control signals.;CONSTITUTION: A database unit(200) stores a predetermined system control command corresponding to at least one combination of the hands, the wrists, and the fingers of a user. A sensing unit(100) senses posture by at least one combination of the hands, the wrists, and the fingers of the user. A control signal generating unit(300) extracts a system control command corresponding to the sensing result of the sensing unit from the database unit.
