摘要

PURPOSE: A bidirectional route searching device using pattern data and method are provided to search a forward route from a starting location to a destination location by using real-time traffic information and pattern data and a final route from candidate routes by using the pattern data.;CONSTITUTION: A bidirectional route searching device using pattern data comprises a traffic information collection unit(21), a pattern data generator(22), a reverse direction route search unit(23), a forward direction route search unit(24), and a controller(25). The traffic information collection unit collects required passing times per sections of each road from a plurality of vehicles. The pattern data generator generates pattern data by calculating the average the required passing times per sections collected by the traffic information collection unit by per time zones and days of the week. The reverse direction route search unit searches candidate routes from a starting location to a destination location based on static costs. The forward direction route search unit searches a forward route from the starting location to the destination location by using the pattern data generated by the pattern data generator. The controller controls forward direction route search unit so that forward direction route search unit searches an optical route among the candidate routes searched by the direction route search unit by using the pattern data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
