PURPOSE: An anti-malware scanning system and method thereof are provided to control storage capacity according to a storage unit by receiving scanning target files from a host unit.;CONSTITUTION: A chip(120) is detachably connected to a host unit(100). The chip receives scanning target files from the host unit. The chip scans the existence of the scanning target file through malware. The host unit corresponds the size of the scanning target file transmitted to the chip to the storage capacity of a storage unit(119). The host unit transmits the controlled scanning target files.
