PURPOSE: An axle assembly for a vehicle is provided to prevent the noise generation due to the movement of a hub bearing in driving through prevent the clearance between a snap ring and a steering knuckle by forming a taper surface formed in the installation position of the snap ring and the steering knuckle.;CONSTITUTION: An axle assembly for a vehicle comprises a steering knuckle(8), a hub bearing(10), a snap ring(11), a hub(13), an axle shaft, and a wheel disk(14). The steering knuckle is connected with a steering device. The hub bearing is assembled in the inner side of a steering knuckle. The snap ring prevents the separation of the hub bearing. The hub is assembled in the inner race of the hub bearing. The axle shaft is coupled with the inner circumference and a spline. The wheel disk is fixed in the outer circumference of the hub. A taper surface is formed in the snap ring. A taper surface corresponding to the taper surface of a snap ring is formed in the portion for installing the snap ring of the steering knuckle.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
