A manufacturing Method of High Performance Recycled Aggregates by Potassium Silicate

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of high quality recycled aggregate using liquid silicate is provided to give cohesiveness and adsorption property to low quality recycled aggregate by surface treating external air gap of low quality recycled aggregate using liquid silicate. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of high quality recycled aggregate using liquid silicate comprises the following steps: preparing a surface treating agent of liquid silicate and coarse recycled aggregate; spraying the surface treating agent on the coarse recycled aggregate for designated time; and drying the coarse recycled aggregate. The coarse recycled aggregate is low quality coarse recycled aggregate for base layer of road. The surface treating agent is potassium silicate solution. The surface treating agent is processed for 10 seconds. The drying step is processed for 1-3 hours using thermo-hygrostat.
