PURPOSE: A fuel tank and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the vapor gas generation in a fuel tank through insulating a fuel tank from the heat exchange with the atmosphere by making a fuel tank by plastic materials.;CONSTITUTION: A fuel tank comprises an exterior wall(1), an interior wall(2), and an insulation layer(3). The exterior wall is made of plastic materials. The insulation layer is installed between the exterior wall and interior wall. A plurality of insulation layers is formed on the top and bottom of the exterior wall and interior wall. A plurality of projections heading to the inner side of a tank is formed in the upper surface and the lower surface of the exterior wall.
