PURPOSE: A post-treatment method for rough cutting of a drum cam using a 5-axis CNC(Computer Numerical Control) machine is provided to accurately perform a machining operation because not only mechanical characteristics but also structural characteristics of a 5-axis CNC machine are reflected.;CONSTITUTION: A post-treatment method for rough cutting of a drum cam using a 5-axis CNC machine is as follows. An angle diagram is defined because the angle diagram with respect to a groove of a drum cam is converted into a sine curve. Structural characteristics of a 5-axis CNC machine are reflected based on a machining position(m) just before a present machining position(n) and a current machining position in a step reflecting structural characteristics.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
