PURPOSE: A soil sampler and a soil unit weight measuring method are provided to measure a unit weight of a soil sample at the same time with collecting the soil sample in a filed without a process transferring the collected soil sample to a lab and measuring characteristics of the soil and to accurately analyze the characteristics of the soil by fundamentally secluding a disturbance of the soil sample.;CONSTITUTION: A soil sampler(100) has a rounded tube shape in which an end part is opened and an inner part is empty for collecting a soil sample. The soil sampler comprises a handle(10), a central unit(20), and a leading end unit(30). Two observation opening units(21) are formed in the central part of the soil sampler. The leading end unit is firstly inserted into the soil.
