OIL PUMP SYSTEM FOR AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CAPABLE OF DISCHARGING RATE OF FLOW BASED ON A LOW PRESSURE UNIT

PURPOSE: An oil pump system for an automatic transmission is provided to prevent excessive power loss and durability deterioration of an oil pump by supplying necessary flow rate with necessary pressure.;CONSTITUTION: A first oil pump(10) creates first fluid pressure and supplies it to a low pressure unit. A second oil pump(20) receives the first fluid pressure and creates second fluid pressure. The second fluid pressure is higher than the first fluid pressure. The second oil pump supplies the second fluid pressure to a high pressure unit. A driving unit(40) drives a driving shaft which interlinks the first oil pump and the second oil pump. The first oil pump is connected with an oil pan(50) by a first inlet and absorbs oil. The first oil pump is connected with the low pressure unit by a first outlet and discharges the first fluid pressure.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
