SMART LOAD MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AN ELECTRIC TRANSFORMER TO EFFICIENTLY MONITOR A LOW-VOLTAGE LOAD

PURPOSE: A smart load monitoring system and method for an electric transformer are provided to monitor and feed back the state of a low-voltage load by calculating load wattage and loss rate of each transformer.;CONSTITUTION: A smart load monitoring system for an electric transformer comprises a load state measuring unit(100), a sale information storage unit(200), and a remote monitoring server(300). The load state measuring unit is electrically connected to loads of customers' houses and measures the currents and voltages of the loads multiple times. The sale information storage unit collects and stores renewable customer data including metered wattage from transformers of the customers' houses. The remote monitoring server receives the currents, voltages, and multiple measurement times from the load state measuring unit and the customer data from the sale information storage unit and calculates a loss rate from the metered wattage and the wattage of the loads.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
