OBJECT DISTANCE MEASUREMENT METHOD WHICH UTILIZES A VISION SENSOR AND A LASER SENSOR CAPABLE OF TRANSFORMING A SPECIFIC THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE INTO TWO-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE INFORMATION
PURPOSE: An object distance measurement method which utilizes a vision sensor and a laser sensor is provided to simply measure a distance to a target object using the laser sensor, thereby accurately measuring the distance to the target object with a low cost.;CONSTITUTION: A specific space is recorded using a vision sensor. The specific space is transformed into two-dimensional image information. A total pixel number of the acquired image information is measured. A target object which requires a distance measurement is classified from the image information. A center pixel value of the target object is extracted. A rotation angle with respect to horizontal and vertical directions of the laser sensor is acquired. Each motor of the laser sensor is driven for the acquired rotation angle. The laser sensor is rotated toward the target object. A reflection time of a laser beam emitted from the laser sensor is calculated. A distance to the target object is measured.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
