PURPOSE: A multimedia data transmission apparatus in a wireless network and method thereof are provided to improve end-to-end QoS(Quality of Service) by dividing a media layer into an SVC(Scalable Video Coding) necessary layer and an improved layer.;CONSTITUTION: Multimedia data divided by a layer is received(S1101). Different wireless bearer channels are established in a multimedia layer(S1102). A QoS parameter for the wireless bearer channel is differently applied. The QoS parameter includes a QCI(QoS Class Identifier) and ARP(Allocation Retention Priority). The multimedia data is divided into a necessary layer and an improved layer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
