PURPOSE: A scrap iron compressor having a unit for removing small scrap iron falling on a base plate is provided to improve production efficiency by removing the small scrap iron without installing additional apparatus or work.;CONSTITUTION: A scrap iron compressor comprises a small unit(100) for removing scrap iron. The small unit for removing the scrap iron is installed in the bottom surface of an ejector plate(50). When the ejector plate is slid back and forth, the small unit for removing the scrap iron scrapes scrap iron stuck on a base plate. The small unit for removing the scrap iron comprises a removing block(120), and a small scrap removing groove(110). The removing block is stepped to one side of the bottom edge of the ejector plate.
