PURPOSE: A reference material for high impact polystyrene certification is provided to measure flame retardant ingredients contained in a high impact polystyrene material.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a reference material for high impact polystyrene certification comprises: a step of weighing and mixing high impact polystyrene and flame retardant or a mixture of flame retardant to prepare a mixture sample; a step of setting the concentration of the flame retardant of a master batch sample; a step of inputting the mixture sample into an extruder and molding to prepare uniform master batch sample; a step of weighing the master batch sample and weighing high impact polystyrene material of a pellet form; a step of weighing the high impact polystyrene material; and a step of inputting the sample mixture into the extruder and extruding and molding twice to five times.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
