PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing austenite stainless steel sheet with reduced edge cracks is provided to minimize accumulated damage by controlling the minimum reduction rate to cause dynamic recrystallization in a hot rolling process.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing austenite stainless steel sheet with reduced edge cracks is as follows. The temperature of heating slab of austenite stainless steel, which includes 0.5-1.5wt.% of boron, is maintained below 1180°C. The temperature of hot-rolling the slab is controlled to 900-1150°C. The minimum reduction rate per one time according to the hot-rolling temperature is controlled to a value expressed as Ec=0.75-0.42xT.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
