PURPOSE: A variable tension cord structure of a heavy load tire is provided to restrict the expanding length while keeping the strength of common steel cords.;CONSTITUTION: A variable tension cord structure of a heavy load tire comprises a core cord(1), and a steel cord(2). The core cord is made of polyester or nylon materials. The core cord and the steel cord have same diameter and is composed of two twisted winded strands.
