PURPOSE: An inputting apparatus and an inputting method are provided to obtain pressure information representing pressurizing loads by measuring electric potential differences.;CONSTITUTION: A manipulating part is pressurized by a user. A first resistance film opposes to a second resistance film. A measuring part(661) measures electric potential difference between first electric potential and second electric potential. The first electric potential is from one part of contact resistance between the first resistance film and the second resistance film, and the second electric potential is from another part of the contact resistance.
