PURPOSE: A PMC(Programmable Machine Controller) shaft switching device of pallet equipment for a handle mode and a method thereof are provided to successively convert a handle mode by being interlocking with an auto mode because a PMC and NC(Numerical Control) controller are selectively switched using a changer.;CONSTITUTION: A PMC shaft switching device(1000) of pallet equipment for a handle mode comprises a machining region(2100), a setup region, a PMC(110), a NC unit(100), and a changer(200). The machining region processes materials in a machine tool(2000). The setup region sets up carrying-in and out of materials to prepare a processing of the materials. The PMC is electrically connected to the machining region and setup region and controls PMC shaft for the operation of a handle mode. A NC controller(120) controlling a NC shaft for operating an auto mode is embedded in the NC control unit. The changer selectively connects a shaft control with respect to the setup region using one between the PMC and NC controller.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
