CHIP TREATING EQUIPMENT FOR A MACHINE TOOL CAPABLE OF REDUCING MAINTENANCE COSTS BY OMITTING A SEPARATE DRIVING DEVICE OR USER OF POWER

PURPOSE: A chip treating equipment for a machine tool is provided to reduce length and installation costs of a chip conveyor by installing the chip treatment equipment in the side of a machine tool table.;CONSTITUTION: A chip treating equipment for a machine tool comprises a chip conveyor(10), a channel-shaped chip pan(20), and a scrapper(30). When workpieces are cut on a machine tool table, the chip conveyor transfers and treats generated chips and cutting oil. The chip pan is installed in one side of the machine tool table adjacently to the chip conveyor in a longitudinal direction. The chip pan accommodates the cutting oil and the chips discharged from the table. When the table moves from the bottom of one end of the table toward the chip conveyor, the scrapper collects the chips of the chip pan and discharges the chips to the chip conveyor while moving with the table together.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
