ROUTE CONFIGURING METHOD FOR PROVIDING QUALITY OF SERVICES BETWEEN ROUTERS POSITIONED AT DIFFERENT DOMAINS

PURPOSE: A route configuring method for providing quality of services(QoS) is provided to minimize the consumption of network system resources due to link state update messages.;CONSTITUTION: QoS route configuration to a destination router positioned at a second domain is requested to a router with a maximum bandwidth value which is in connection with an external link and is included in a first domain(102). An originator router is included in the first domain. The QoS route configuration is requested to the router of the second domain in connection with the external link based on the representative value of a border gateway protocol route router(105). A QoS route between the originator router and a router in the second domain is configured. Otherwise, the QoS route configuration is requested to other routers.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
