PURPOSE: A composition containing Lilium Candidum extract and carriers is provided to suppress malanogenesis with low cytotoxicity.;CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin lightening contains extract prepared from Lilium Candidum whole plant, flowers, stems, leaves, or combination thereof. The extract contains 0.1 wt% of polyunsaturated fatty acid with a structure of chemical formula I(R-COOH). The extract additionally contains polysaccharides, oligosaccharides, disaccharides, and combination thereof. The composition further contains skin lightening agent.
