PURPOSE: Quality of service(QoS) controlling method and system for providing multimedia broadcasting services in a wireless local area network(WLAN) and an access point for the same are provided to secure QoS set in a broadcast service device.;CONSTITUTION: A packet interfacing part(310) transmits allocated channel information to neighboring access points(AP)(360) and receives allocated channel information from the neighboring AP. A wireless interference detecting part(320) measures the intensity of signals from the channel information of the surrounding AP and detects wireless interference. A channel allocating part(330) allocates channels with minimum interference based on the channel information allocated at the neighboring AP and wireless interference information detected through the wireless interference detecting part.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
