PURPOSE: A method for managing a web application policy using a smart card and a web server and a mobile terminal for the same are provided to execute an updating process based on the web protocol of a hypertext transfer protocol method at a web platform.;CONSTITUTION: A web server(120) is located in the storing region of a mobile terminal and transmits policy information about terminal resources to a local host. A web platform(100) in a mobile terminal communicates with the web server based on a web protocol. The web platform inquires the changing of policy to an external policy management server. If the policy is changed, the web platform updates the changed policy to the web server.
