PURPOSE: A GMPLS(General Multiprotocol Label Switching) network-based inter-domain interface device and a method thereof are provided to form a session between edge nodes of an inter-domain and to switch a routing protocol message.;CONSTITUTION: A routing protocol processing unit(110) forms an inter-edge node session between edge nodes of an inter-domain. The routing protocol processing unit switches a routing protocol message. An operation information storing unit(120) stores operation information including an operation of the routing protocol processing unit.
