PURPOSE: An abnormal state monitoring/recovery method of an embedded system is provided to normally restore a function of an embedded system in case an application program is in an infinite loop.;CONSTITUTION: A system is initialized before the performance of an application program(200). The application program is performed(202). A routine for periodically accessing a memory address is added to the application program. If the application program is performed, the memory is periodically accessed(204). If the memory is not periodically accessed, interrupt is generated(206).
