PURPOSE: A remote authenticating system and a method thereof are provided to eliminate mutual authentication between servers by directly authenticating between a broadcast receiving terminal and a visited CAS authenticating server.;CONSTITUTION: An authentication server encodes content. The authentication server transmits the encoded content. The authentication server transmits an ECM(Entitlement Control Message) and an EMM(Entitlement Management Message) for decoding the encoded content. A broadcast receiving terminal(120) produces control words based on the ECM and EMM. The broadcast receiving terminal decodes the encoded content using the produced control words.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
