PURPOSE: A device and a method for sealing a groundwater well are provided to efficiently restore a damaged water cutoff wall without the removal of an inner casing.;CONSTITUTION: A device for sealing a groundwater well comprises a groundwater well, an inner casing, a balance hole(21) or grouting material injection hole(22), a sealing material injection hole(23), a sealing material pressing device, a sealing material injector, a sealing material, and a water cutoff wall. The inner casing is inserted into the groundwater well. The balance hole or grouting material injection hole is formed by boring the inner casing using a boring machine. The sealing material injection hole is formed by boring a sealing section of the inner casing. The sealing material pressing device presses the sealing material into the sealing material injector. The sealing material seals the gap between the groundwater well and the inner casing. The water cutoff wall is formed by filling the gap between the inner casing and the groundwater well with a grouting material.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
