PURPOSE: Steelmaking equipment having the heat-insulating and reinforcing permanent lining is provided to improve heat insulation properties of refractory materials of the permanent lining by adding porous particles.;CONSTITUTION: Steelmaking equipment comprises a crucible, a permanent lining, and a steel shell. The crucible holds molten metal. The permanent lining encloses the crucible. The steel shell encloses permanent lining.
