PURPOSE: An apparatus for operating a drain valve is provided to upwardly change a connection angle by connecting a joint part to a connection part connected with a drain valve, and to operate the drain valve on the ground by connecting a rotating operation part to the joint part.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for operating a drain valve comprises a connection part(10), a joint part(20), and a rotating operation part(30). The connection part is installed underground and is projected toward one direction of a drain valve. The joint part is connected to one end of the connecting part and is formed into a shape of a joint so that one end of the joint part can be upwardly bent.
