DISK CORROSION PROTECTING STRUCTURE OF A KNIFE GATE VALVE, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING DAMAGE OF COATING LAYERS WHEN A DISK VERTICALLY MOVES

PURPOSE: A disk corrosion protecting structure of a knife gate valve is provided to enhance lifespan and sealing force by forming coating layers and to prevent damage of the coating layers.;CONSTITUTION: A disk corrosion protecting structure of a knife gate valve comprises vertical grooves(14), curvature grooves(15), and a horizontal groove(16). The vertical grooves and the curvature grooves are formed along the girth of a moving groove formed in bodies(10), and the horizontal grooves are formed in the upper inner surface(13) of a path(11). Coating layers(11a',13a) are respectively formed in the girth and the inner surface of the path of the bodies. Gate guides(17) having elasticity are fitted and joined in the vertical grooves, the curvature grooves, and the horizontal groove. A coating layer(21) formed by a same material as the gate guides is spread on the surface of a disk(20).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
