VENTILATION SYSTEM FOR UNDERGROUND TUNNEL

PURPOSE: A ventilation apparatus for an underground tunnel and a ventilation method are provided to noticeably reduce construction costs by reducing the width of excavation works. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation system for an underground tunnel comprises a intermediate wind tunnel chamber(240), a mechanical ventilation room(230), a wind tunnel of an up-track tunnel side(210), the wind tunnel of a down-track tunnel, ventilation wind tunnels(110,120), and a plurality of blast dampers. The intermediate wind tunnel chamber is installed in an upper part of the tunnel, and comprises paths respectively connected to an up-track tunnel(250) and a down-track tunnel(260). The mechanical ventilation room is installed in the upper part of the intermediate wind tunnel chamber, and a ventilation fan(231) is installed. The wind tunnel of an up-track tunnel side and the wind tunnel of a down-track tunnel are connected to the mechanical ventilation room each other, and respectively connected to the intermediate wind tunnel chamber. One side of the ventilation wind tunnel is respectively connected to the wind tunnel of an up-track tunnel side and the wind tunnel of a down-track tunnel, and the other side comprises a ventilation port. The plurality of blast dampers determines the direction of an air flow.
