PURPOSE: An image filming device for dental service and a method for obtaining an image on teeth and alveolar bone are provided to prevent the generation of a cloudy image. CONSTITUTION: An image filming device for dental service comprises a body unit, a rotating member, an optical source unit(30), an image sensor(40), an input unit(50), a motor(70), a memory(80), and a controller(100). The body unit comprises a supporting member, a vertical member, and a horizontal member. The optical source unit is formed to be extended in the lower part of the rotating member. The image sensor collects light irradiated to the optical source unit and generates an image. A command for the image filming device is input through the input unit. The motor provides driving force for rotating the rotating member. The controller controls the motor.
