PURPOSE: A parameter optimization method of a superconducting fault current limiter is provided to select the optimum resistance of a superconducting fault current limiter in consideration of coordination between over-current relays by calculating fault current through an impedance map according to a fault position. CONSTITUTION: A parameter optimization method of a superconducting fault current limiter comprises the steps of: analyzing a distribution system model according to the malfunction of an electric system during a distributed power linking process(S100), composing an impedance map according to the fault position of the electric system corresponding to the distribution system model(S110), calculating the fault current of the electric system based on the impedance map(S120), and determining a resistance of the superconducting fault current limiter based on the fault current(S130).
