PURPOSE: A generation method of a high power ultra short x-ray pulse is provided to generate a high power ultra short x-ray pulse by using laser drastically increasing, a nanotube target, and a mirror condition. CONSTITUTION: A nanotube(or a nano wire), laser, and a detector are arranged. A laser incident path and a detector position exist on one plane perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of a target. The two dimensional plane arrangement of the nanotube or the nano wire is used for the target instead of a thin film which is used as a conventional target. A laser pulse uses a laser pulse having drastically increased intensity by time instead of a general femto second laser pulse having a Gaussian form. A diameter of a distributed region to an electronic layer pushed out in case of the nanotube target very slowly increases.
