PURPOSE: A permanent magnet chuck is provided to apply or release magnetic force according to the size of steel materials.;CONSTITUTION: A permanent magnet chuck comprises a bottom plate(100), a front core(110), a rear core(120), a middle core(130), a permanent magnet member, a magnet receiving case, a magnet rotation member(160), a magnetic force opening/closing rotary member(195). The front core and rear core are coupled with the front and rear portion of the bottom plate. The middle core is coupled with the upper portion of the bottom plate. A plurality of permanent magnet members are arranged between the front, rear and middle cores. A plurality of magnet receiving case contains some part of permanent magnet member.
