PURPOSE: A system for synchronizing personal information among heterogeneous devices is provided to synchronize personal information by determining the existence of metadata and the identity. CONSTITUTION: If a user of a client(10) is authenticated, the client checks whether the local personal information data of the client is previously synchronized or not. If the local information data is not synchronized, the client request the initial synchronization of the local personal information data to a synchronization server(100). The client synchronizes the personal information data on the synchronization server with the server personal information data.
