AD HOC GATEWAY AND SECURE TERMINALS FOR THE MOBILE AND SECURE AD HOC NETWORKS

PURPOSE: An ad hoc gateway and a terminal having mobility and security are provided to supply an ad hoc terminal having IP based security to a mobile subscriber on a network which requests communication having security. CONSTITUTION: A tunnel(117) which faces an ad hoc gateway(133) is composed with the use of an IP security ESP(Encapsulating Security Payload) protocol. The ad hoc gateway includes a fully connected tunnel. An SA(Security Association) is set up in the tunnel. A cipher text generating unit generates a datagram of protocol data which passes through IP backbone by using a symmetrical key.
