PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of polymeric material is provided to be cross-linkable, and to be polarized, thereby capable of obtaining a material with NLO activity corresponding with lithium niobate, and excellent time stability.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of polymeric material comprises: a step of obtaining a bi- or tri-isocyanate NLO chromophoric group; a step of obtaining a prepolymer mixture consisting of the NLO chromophoric group, a reaction product of a reactive material, and an inactive solvent by dissolving the NLO chromophoric group into the inactive solvent, which is inactive to an isocyanate group, containing the reactive material; a step of coating a substrate with a thin layer of the prepolymer, and evaporating the solvent; a step of obtaining a crosslinked and polarized tin film by heating the thin film and applying electric field to the thin film; a step of cooling the polarized thin film at room temperature, while maintaining the electric field; and a step of switching off the electric field.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
