PURPOSE: A system for providing coupon notification using SNS information and a method thereof are provided to input a SNS account or relation of a receiver or use location information of a coupon, thereby providing the coupon or a notification message to the receiver. CONSTITUTION: A service server(100) generates an available coupon notification message or a notification message for coupon use or transmits a coupon. A database(200) stores information of a SNS account connecting to the service server. The service server includes the following steps. A location based coupon recommendation module(110) generates the available coupon notification message related to the coupon. A location based coupon notification module(112) generates the notification message for the coupon use related to the coupon.
