COPOLYESTER RESIN WITH EXCELLENT BIODEGRADABILITY AND HEAT RESISTANCE BY USING ONE OR MORE COPOLYMERIZABLE COMPONENTS OF NEOPENTYLGLYCOL AND BIOMASS-DERIVED ISOSORBIDE CAPABLE OF IMPROVING BIODEGRADABILITY
PURPOSE: A copolyester resin is provided to have excellent heat resistance, spinning processability, and biodegradability, thereby being very useful for manufacturing industrial fiber product and environment-friendly non-woven fabric for polyester cloth of high quality.;CONSTITUTION: A copolyester resin is manufactured by polycondensation of dicarboxylic acid components as a first copolymerization component, and glycol components as a second copolymerization component. The dicarboxylic acid component is selected from aromatic dicarboxylic acid, acid anhydride thereof or a mixture thereof, aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, acid anhydride thereof or a mixture thereof, and a mixture thereof. The glycol component is selected from petroleum-based ethylene glycol, biomass-derived ethylene glycol or a mixture thereof, isosorbide, neopentylglycol or a mixture thereof, and a mixture thereof. The aliphatic dicarboxylic acid comprises glutaric acid, and the glycol component comprises the isosorbide.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
