PURPOSE: A method for separating air from waste refrigerant is provided to eliminate impurities such as moisture, oils, and particulate materials from waste refrigerant in addition to separate HFC-134a from the waste refrigerant.;CONSTITUTION: A method for separating air from waste refrigerant includes the following: moisture, oils, and particulate materials are separated from waste refrigerant by passing the waste refrigerant through a filter; the pressure of the transferred refrigerant is regulated using a regulator below a pressure at which non-liquefaction is occurred; the waste refrigerant with the regulated pressure is introduced into a membrane module; waste refrigerant gas and air are separated based on the difference of permeability; and the separated air is eliminated from the waste refrigerant gas. The membrane module includes a permeable gas outlet and a concentrated gas outlet which respectively discharge air and the waste refrigerant gas.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
