PURPOSE: A device for marking and sensing a variable level of a metal melt is provided to efficiently and precisely decide a level of a metal melt within a mold.;CONSTITUTION: A device for marking and sensing a variable level of a metal melt comprises radiation ray sources(20) and sensitive type detectors(30.1,30.2,30.3,30.4,30.5,30.6,30.7,30.8). The radiation ray sources are arranged to lengthwise on a lateral surface of a mold along first proper length. The radiation ray sources emit radiation photons toward an opposite lateral surface of the mold. The sensitive type detectors are arranged to lengthwise on the opposite lateral surface along second proper length to be adjacent to each other.
