PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an optical fiber spool including a self supporting coil of an optical fiber cable and the optical fiber spool thereof are provided to prevent to take away other coil adhered with the coil, when one coil is released.;CONSTITUTION: A lot of embossing(86) are generated on a surface(76). Interposed spaces(88) are generated between the embossing. The embossing of a surface of an optical fiber cable meshes with the interposed spaces of each of adjacent layers(96a~96c) in adjacent sides(92a,92b). Two or more of the embossing are possible to mesh with the interposed spaces of the optical fiber cable. A part of the embossing is possible to mesh with the interposed spaces.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
