PURPOSE: An apparatus for heating a heat medium using solar energy is provided to increase the area that solar heat is incident. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for heating a heat medium using solar energy comprises a body(4), a heat collecting unit(7), a heating panel(8), a heat exchange container, and a rotary unit(13). Side plates(1) and a lower plate(2) in the body are connected by square frames(3). The heat collecting unit made of synthetic resins into a convex lens shape is installed in the upper part of the body. The heat collecting unit is vertically divided into two by a barrier(6), and concentrates solar energy on the center of the lower plate. The heat exchange container comprises an inflow pipe(9), an outflow pipe(10), and heat exchange pins(11), and delivers the solar energy to the heat medium. The rotary unit correspondently rotates the body to the sun's direction.
