INTERGRATED SYSTEM FOR THE HIGH TEMPERATURE GAS-COOLED REACTOR WITH A GAS TURBINE ELECTRIC GENERATION SYSTEM AND MULTI-EFFECT DISTILLATION PLANTS

PURPOSE: An integrated system for a multi-functional desalination plant and a high temperature gas cooler with a gas turbine electric generator are provided to continuously eliminate waste heat regardless of the malfunction of one component. CONSTITUTION: An integrated system includes a high temperature gas cooler(100), a generator(200), a multi-functional evaporating type desalinating plant(400), and a heat eliminator(500). The high temperature gas cooler generates the heating source of high temperatures based on helium as operational fluid. The generator is directly connected with the high temperature gas cooler. The generator receives the heat from the high temperature gas cooler and drives a gas turbine to generate electricity. The desalinating plant collects waste heat from the generator and generates fresh water. The heat eliminator eliminates waste heat from the low temperature parts(212, 222) of a dual type pre-cooler and a dual type intermediate cooler.
